Introducing the city’s latest escape, Good Life Skates

You thought Escape to Freight Island had it all? So did we. We were wrong. So we started working hard on a new project over at the mezzanine level at Freight Island: An 8000sq ft roller skating rink all ready for you to spend the summer on wheels.

Inspired by the unbound creativity and sprawling community of street skating, our new rink presents a never seen before experience to the heart of Manchester.

With flexible drop-in sessions, tutored classes, merchandise, workshops, multi-disciplinary events and collaborations all on the cards, Good Life Skates promises to give our city more than just a memorable night out.

The Good Life Skates mezzanine will have its own playful food and drinks offerings for guests to enjoy alongside their skating experience or you can book a table for a pre- or post-skate meal from any of our fab Escape To Freight Island food vendors.

Good Life Skates is a safe skate place, accessible for all. Our floor is yours and regardless of experience, Good Life Skates is an open place for us to come together.

Peak Hours: 7pm - 11pm Wednesday & Thursday, all day Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session to allow for queues and check in.

Under 14’s must be accompanied by a person 18 years or over. Under 3’s are not allowed.
