OK, let’s get going. Make your premises compliant and win more customers.
New government guidelines that are published on gov.uk have outlined the responsibilities of pub and bar owners before reopening on the 4th July. It is the owner’s responsibility to create a safe environment for customers and staff to be in.
The guidelines state that every pub or bar must have the ability to take orders and track customer information online through an application. This is to ensure as little transmission of bacteria as possible, keeping everyone safe.
The guidelines also state that at every entrance/exit from the building, there must be sanitising stations, as well as the restrooms.
Contactless payment solutions are also requested by the new guidelines. You can offer a payment solution that requires no customer interaction, and without having to ask customers for card details. Again, if there is less contact with customers and staff, the risk of transmission drops dramatically.
