We’ve upped our menu offering and our beer garden is back in business now summer is finally here.
We’ve added chicken sosatie to our menu. Tender chicken thighs, coated in Chakalaka spices and cooked on skewers have an unmistakable flavour of the BBQ.
And when they’re served on a rocket and pomegranate salad with fries and a fruity mango dip? You’ve just found the perfect summer food.
Frikkadel are a South African classic – we’re only sorry it’s taken so long to put them on the menu because these spiced meatballs are the business. Served in a home-made tomato and onion sauce, you can have them with fries or pap but we really recommend the rice. It’s a great combo. There’s also a vegetarian version available.
Our meaty and veggie sharing boards are also great summer snacks for a couple of liitle-bit-hungry friends or one ravenous monster. Packed with bits and bobs like boerewors, biltong mac and cheese, sweet chilli bites and feta salad, they’re like a picnic platter that’s perfect for the beer garden.
Lekker pitchers need to be part of your summer too. Sharing jugs of everyone’s favourite summer drinks like rum punch, gin fizz, pink lemonade and paloma cocktails with their refreshing sour hit of tequila, grapefruit and lime.
