Buca di Pizza dishes up Italian-influenced food and drink, from aperitivo and cicchetti to pasta and, of course, pizza. Traditional classics meet modern twists, with pizzas ranging from the likes of margherita and marinara to meatball-filled Swiss Tony Calzone and El Bastardo (it’s hot!).
Inspired by summer holidays in the Italian lake district, we – brothers Geoff and Nick Thornton (previously owners of the Épernay Champagne bars) – opened the first Buca di Pizza in 2014 in a basement in Leeds – buca is Tuscan slang for cellar.
Incorporating new and exciting flavours from around the world, you’ll never look at pizza in the same way again, with our chefs’ specials appearing fortnightly and a unique “bottomless” offer every day of the week.
