Get a few bites of Beastro’s new chef’s tasting menu

Over at Beastro, we always say honesty is the best policy — good, honest grub sourced from Manchester’s finest creators, makers and bakers, and prepared and served by a properly passionate team.

And now you can give the best British nose-to-tail style food in Spinningfields a spin with the restaurant’s new tasting menu. As Beastro is renowned for local, seasonal ingredients, the menu is subject to change, but here’s a sneak peek of some of the dishes you might expect to enjoy on your visit... 

Roast chicken skin spiked with celeriac, carrot and sorrel followed by crumpet and Lancashire mushrooms four ways gives a lovely introduction to autumn. Crispy breast of lamb with mint gel then roasted beetroot and pearl barley topped with shredded ox cheek and home-made warm hummus with roasted roots, curried oil and crispy cauliflower sound is aimed to get you glowing. Rounding things off – winter berry sorbet and Eccles cake and Lancashire cheese – and it all comes with four wines.
