Stylish social distancing comes to Spinningfields

The Lawn Club has returned to the heart of Spinningfields offering al fresco socialising with copious amounts of outdoor space for drinking, dining and socialising.

The temporary bar space on Hardman Square (in front of The Ivy) has always been a hotspot for an urban garden party and reinvents itself slightly every year. New for 2020, The Lawn Club has added a fully enclosed interior bar area to offer cover and shelter for Manchester’s cooler days and nights.

The Lawn House

For groups, there are brand new Lawn Houses, alongside the return of the ever popular Lawn Pods and deckchairs. The Lawn Pods and Houses can be booked in advance at no extra charge. A card authorisation for £30 will be required, and will be charged in the event of a no show. Tables in the enclosed bar area are also bookable in advance, with a select few retained for walk-ins.

The iconic Lawn Pods provide a private space for groups and the brand-new Lawn Houses (resembling mini greenhouses) are both the perfect settings for drinks with groups of up to six friends.

The outside lawn area is also scattered with deck chairs, making it the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing spritz cocktail if you’re lucky enough to bag an available seat.

The new menu has been inspired by the summer-friendly food of Greece

Offering a drinks menu including summer cocktails and craft beers, The Lawn Club has been a popular spot for sun seekers and weekend drinkers. Food-wise, The Lawn Club pop-up kitchen now offers fresh Greek-inspired bites including gyros, salads, flatbreads and the ubiquitous drink-friendly halloumi fries, alongside plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

The Lawn Club is open seven days week from 12pm - 11pm (open until midnight on Friday and Saturday).
