At The Pen And Pencil, you can get ready for brighter days with a brand new spring brunch menu.The folks at The Pen And Pencil are real teases. They're keeping their new dishes under wraps but they've sent us a few spoilers to get our tummies rumbling.

The avocado, smoked feta, sweet chilli and garlic ciabatta with a lovely runny poached egg looks like heaven. Light, smooth, sharp – it's a reason to give thanks for the humble hen.

The asparagus, hazelnut and soft boiled egg salad is another dish that celebrates our clucking cousins and makes you want to punch the air in delight.

Obviously, The Pen And Pencil couldn’t keep Gordo away. He’s a man who’s hard to please but the new menu has done exactly that with every single dish. He still gets misty-eyed just thinking about the steak and eggs and THAT hash brown. Truly, a Gordo go.
