The humble gin and tonic is currently undergoing a Spanish revival, where the emphasis is on premium products and subtle aromatics, carefully chosen to bring out the best of the products.
Specialist bars are popping up everywhere from Barcelona to Malaga, Madrid and Ronda. You don’t need to hop on a plane though, because Lunya are running a gin masterclasses to help you understand this classic spirit.

The events involve a talk from John O’Dowd of The Liverpool Gin Company followed by a guided tasting of the award-winning Liverpool gins and Lunya’s collection of stunning Spanish gins.
In all, there will be seven different gins and a selection of tapitas and ingredients to accompany each of them.
Tickets usually cost £29.95 which includes a 10% discount of any gin purchased on the night but you could win a pair or tickets to the July masterclass.
