THE Magic Loungeabout returns to Skipton for a third year on Friday 27 – Sunday 29 July 2012.

The boutique festival features live music and art in the intimate and stunning grounds of Broughton Hall for just 3,000 people. Confirmed music acts in the four areas include CHIC feat Nile Rodgers, The Charlatans, Kevin Saunderson featuring Inner City, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Smoove and Turrell, Lucy Rose, Summer Camp, Chew Lips, Cashier No 9, Jenny O, Juan Zelada, Let’s Buy Happiness, The Loose Salute and more.

Speakers include Stuart Maconie, Jon Ronson, Pat Long and Richard Fox with more to be announced, as well as DJs Dave Beer, Buckley, Danielle Moore from Crazy P, Chris Duckenfield, PBR Streetgang and more who take over the Super Club.
A family-friendly festival for the more discerning out there, The Magic Loungeabout offers the perfect mix of avante pop, fringe cabaret, inspiring speakers, thought provoking cinema and fine food and drink. The Magic Loungeabout is one of the most imaginative festivals in the north and the ultimate escape to the country for those in the know. A recent Arts Council funding win has added even more entertainment taking place across the whole weekend, making this festival even greater value for money.
And in anticipation of a sun-kissed weekend, for the second year running, a special ale has been produced for the festival by Leeds Brewery. Called The Magic Ale, this crisp and refreshing tipple is available at The Magic Loungeabout and in selected pubs across Yorkshire.
