FOR guaranteed laughs and a delightful evening of theatrical absurdity, the new Jeeves and Wooster play at The Lowry Theatre is a sure bet. It won the coveted Best Comedy Award at The Oliviers 2014 and is described as a ‘hilarious production that layers joy on joy, joke on joke.’

Events take a turn for the worse when Bertie finds himself stealing a cow creamer from Totleigh Towers

It stars James Lance (I’m Alan Partridge, Teachers, The Book Group) as the hapless aristocrat Bertie Wooster and John Gordon Sinclair of Gregory’s Girl fame as his deependable valet Jeeves. And the storyline will tickle P.G. Wodehouse fans old and new.

The iconic double act take a trip to the countryside but events take a turn for the worse when Bertie finds himself stealing a cow creamer from Totleigh Towers. Luckily, dutiful Jeeves is on hand to stop Bertie making a fool of himself in front of a cast of Wodehouse’s finest characters.
