EXCITEMENT is growing over the inaugural Summercamp, part of Liverpool International Music Festival, simply the coolest way to spend this August Bank Holiday.
Music, art, food, friends and family, is what it's about, Saturday and Sunday August 24-25.
Set within Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, Summercamp is a small festival with big talent up close, boasting top acts such as Mount Kimbie, Martha Wainwright, Ghostpoet and The 2 Bears, world-class art courtesy of Liverpool Biennial and mouth-watering flavours including a menu from ‘Great British Menu’ winner Glynn Purnell, Simon Rimmer and one of those performance art dinners for the uber-trendy among you.
“A village fete meets a bloc party,” say organisers, the event features both outdoor and indoor stages woven throughout and around the unique host warehouse venue, Camp and Furnace. It's a proper festival, without the soggy tent.
