THE National Trust is giving Confidential readers the chance to win a two night stay at Holeslack Farmhouse near Kendal.
Built in the sixteenth century, Holeslack Farmhouse is a Grade II listed house that stands at the gateway to the Lake District with idyllic views of Sizergh Castle and the surrounding countryside.
This rural escape features a large farmhouse kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn, a sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a dining room, two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
It's a great location with Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells just a short drive away. On your ‘to do list’ should be the popular local walk along Scout Scar, a spectacular limestone pavement, and a visit to Sizergh Castle where the National Trust has events and activities for all ages.
The competition closing date is Thursday 15 August 2013. The winner will be notified by email and contacted directly to confirm preferred dates between 5 September – 17 December 2013 (excluding bank holidays and October half term).

- Prize is a two-night break at Holeslack Farmhouse, Sizergh, the Lakes.
- Holeslack accommodates up to a maximum of eight people. At least one member of the booking party must be over eighteen years.
- Prize must be taken between 5 September 2013 – 17 December 2013 and is subject to availability.
- Prize cannot be taken on bank holiday or bank holiday weekends.
- If the winner wishes to extend their holiday, then they agree to pay the cost of the additional nights at the specified rate.
- National Trust will not be responsible for any transport or accommodation costs incurred in the fulfilment of the prize.
- Dogs are not allowed at Holeslack Cottage.
- No cash alternative or refund will be given and prize draw entrant must be over eighteen years.
- The prize cannot be combined with other prizes, discounts or offers.
- The prize draw is not open to employees of National Trust or their families.
