The tasting menu at The Art School is something we’d encourage all diners to try. It’s their flagship gastronomic experience – seven courses of delightful food accompanied by an optional wine flight. Completely unforgettable.
From the slow-braised pork cheek and belly with black pudding crumb to the new season Yorkshire rhubarb with blood orange sorbet, every dish is one to savour.
The tasting menu is available from midday–2.15pm and from 5pm–9.15pm. Pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan tasting menus are also available.
Not everyone wants a tasting menu experience, so the Excellence menu offers the same commitment to quality and flavour but in a more traditional format.
Everything begins with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Champagne and a selection of Chef’s canapés before moving on to a choice of starters such as wood pigeon with preserved Victoria plums in Cognac and main courses such as a plate of hogget including loin and stuffed lamb belly.
Puddings are equally exquisite with the alluring dark chocolate torte and mango gel or the classic pavlova of winter berries in Kirsch.
Similarly to the tasting menu, the excellence is available any time during service hours. Pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan excellence menus are also available.
If you’re pushed for time you can still capture the true essence of The Art School with the prix fixe menu. It’s fine dining that’s accessible for everyone.
From mackerel in a soy, yuzu and wasabi marinade to confit duck leg with slow-cooked beans and a tomato, smoked pork and spinach ragu, this is fine dining that leaves time to catch a show.
The prix fixe menu is available from midday-2.15pm and from 5pm-6.15pm with two courses for £27 and three courses for £34.
A vegan prix fixe menu is also available.
