This is a special time of year with more sunshine and more produce to choose from. We’re celebrating April with some fantastic new dishes on our menu.
New starters on our spring specials menu include cherry wood smoked chicken lollipops with a bourbon glaze and sesame and ginger slaw as well as our pan-roasted asparagus, barley and beans with a poached duck egg and wild garlic hollandaise. New season asparagus and freshly-picked wild garlic are two of our chef’s favourite ingredients so this dish is a work of love.
Our April specials are perfect for date night. These beautiful main courses are just the thing for a special evening: fire-roasted lamb rack with Lyonnaise potatoes and charred spring cabbage with a shallot and thyme sauce; bacon and parmesan crusted cod with pan-fried spring greens and wild garlic butter sauce; Black Angus 8oz fillet steak with asparagus and oyster mushroom, triple cooked chips and smoked bourbon red wine sauce.
We haven’t forgotten pudding with a sensational new apple and berry nutty crumble served with white chocolate custard.
