Make yourself at home with Furusato’s Weekend Brunch

Weekends are special at Furusato Bar & Grill, where bottomless brunch features a tempting choice of pan-Asian plates plus 90 minutes of non-stop drinks.

Meaning “home” in Japanese, Furusato is definitely a place we could get settled, and with a spread of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails – including house creations such as the Beijing Bellini and Lucky Cat – this is how afternoons should be spent.

The food is just as tempting, with starters including pretty-as-a-picture Korean chicken wings sprinkled with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions, and crispy chicken tenders with Dashi mayo. There’s a Furusato signature dish of duck spring rolls and a vibrant vegan number of ginger and soybean soba noodle salad. Cauliflower bites tick the veggie box, and gluten-free diets are catered for with crispy ham hock or chilli-dusted squid.

Mains offer forth Japanese-inspired teriyaki pork and chicken katsu, while fried sea bass with brocollini or glazed pork belly with apple slaw pack a chilli punch. There’s a plant-based tarka dahl alongside a delicate shallot bhaji and homemade flatbread, and the curries continue with both red – crispy duck – and green – chicken thigh with coconut, soybeans and sugar snap peas – both accompanied by fragrant rice.

Indulge in a Weekend Brunch at Furusato for just £35 for starter, main and unlimited selected drinks, and choose a sitting between noon and 4pm, whatever suits – make yourself at home.
