From their flagship London Dry through to the award-winning Bold St. Chai, you’ll get a true feel for the innovative independent distillery. There’ll also be a round of Woodfired Pizza afterwards because you won’t want to leave their cosy yet stunning basement bar.
Turncoat are an independent craft distiller owned and operated by the distillers. Their spirits reflect the freedom they have to pursue quality and innovation. Turncoat is a distillery born out of secrecy and rebellion. In 2016 their Head Distiller, one of the original craft brewers in the UK since 2010, turned rebel from his own brewery and founded Turncoat Distillery. Turning his coat from his brewery, he put together a small team of secret distillers, based in unrevealed settings, releasing unexpected spirits.
In February 2020 Turncoat Distillery opened its flagship bar on the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool. Their aim was to create a grown-up boozer which is welcoming, easy going and fun. The optimum environment for showcasing their unique range of spirits. They have a short (but ever expanding) list of cocktails which allow their bartenders to do great things with the spirits. To compliment the spirits they serve some of the best craft beer available locally and nationally as well as serving some unreal woodfired pizza.
