ARCHIE'S Burgers and Shakes, the Manchester American-style fast food diner that once had rapper Nas serving milkshakes behind the counter, has dipped a toe in the Mersey by opening its biggest restaurant yet, in Ranelagh Street.
Set over two floors, it's the company’s third venue and the first outside the M60 and like the Manchester branches, which are a stone throw from Oxford Road Station, this, too, is handy for train passengers - of the Central variety.
With its pink and white Barbie doll interior, Archie's is coming up to four years in business and is owned by Amer, Imran, Asim and Irfan Rafiq.
“When we decided we wanted to expand our offering and move out of Manchester for the first time, we knew straight away that a Liverpool location was the obvious next step for Archie’s. The city’s food and drink scene continues to thrive and I’m sure that Archie’s will be a popular addition," said one of them.

Expect burgers, hot-dogs and wraps, Portuguese chicken peri burgers, fish sandwiches and Portobello mushroom burgers together with an assortment of dessert offerings, including mouth-watering waffles alongside that smoothie and shake menu that encourages punters to create their own.
The new venue, which features bubblegum hues complemented by neon wall art, has been designed and executed by Managing Director of DV8 Designs Lee Birchall and his Warrington-based team.
