AN unforgettable afternoon of non-stop racing action is on the cards this Saturday at Chester's Roodee.

Chester is an ancient Roman city and this weekend racegoers will be surrounded by Roman Legions dressed to impress in authentic clothing and equipment.

To get into the spirit, Liverpool Confidential is today are offering one lucky reader six County Stand tickets to the Halewood International Roman Day at Chester Racecourse on Saturday June 13th, courtesy of Tsingtao Beer and Lamb’s Rum.

Dress up for the best seats in the house (but not in a toga, unfortunately). The County Stand overlooks the final furlong and the winning post and these tickets also permit access to the Paddock where you can find the parade ring and winner's enclosure as well as access to the newly refurbished County Champagne Bar.

Prize is for six Country Concourse tickets only. Gents are requested to wear suits with collar and tie and for ladies, smart dress is suggested. Winner must be over the age of 18. No cash alternative will be given.

Can you go? Can you round up five of your mates to go with you? If not, don't bother entering.

If so, hit the big red button now to be in with a chance of winning this fab, last minute prize.

UPDATE: The winner of the competition is Alan Pleavin. Congratulations Alan and thanks to all who entered.
