HOSPITALITY Action are the people who look after those working in the restaurant, bar or hotel trade who, for whatever reason, have had a major wobble in their lives.

Its mission is to offer vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK - cook, bar worker, housekeeper or waiter - and who find themselves in crisis. It could be illness, poverty, bereavement, addiction or domestic violence. Not forgetting retired workers who have become isolated.
Next Wednesday there's a chance to show your support for them in the lush surroundings of Paul Askew's Art School restaurant.
Porky is Liverpool's food champion and joint chairman for the North of England for the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.
Next week he will team up with Steven Smith, chef patron of multi-award winning gastropub The Freemasons, at Wiswell, which is the Good Food Guide's as the number one pub in the UK.
The pair will together present a five course dinner “to create a truly unique evening for a very worthy charity”.
Money raised by HA goes towards essential items for down-on-luck hospitality workers including food, equipment and central heating. HA also runs educational seminars advising catering students of the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse.
