Members of the Heroes Club hit up Veeno for food and wine
VEENO’S wine-tasting experiences are perfect for getting to know both wine and people, so booking out the Italian wine café for the latest event for our Manchester Confidential Heroes Club members was a no-brainer.
Ten Heroes and their pals rocked up at Veeno – the go-to place to enjoy award-winning, family-produced Sicilian wines and finger-licking spuntini snacks created using authentic ingredients imported from Italy.
We think Veeno’s wine-tasting experiences are a great way to try out their tipples and learn a little more about Italy’s viticultural offer, with one of their experts pouring out and running through six wines, each complemented by delicious sharing platters of genuine Italian appetisers.
Friendly and chatty Veeno Manchester Manager Seda ran our Heroes session, explaining the background to each of the wines very well and leaving the group for a little while in between each ‘course’ to enjoy it, chat about it and try it with the specially matched food.
The ‘Classic’ wine-tasting session introduced our Heroes to two white wines and three reds, plus the family vineyard’s Marsala liqueur, a perfect match to dessert and accompanied by Veeno’s homemade Italian tiramisu. Delicious was the general consensus!
