With live music and literature to boot, it’s a busy month at the brewery…
Seven Bro7hers has arguably become as renowned for its busy events calendar as its superb craft beer over the years.
October is no exception, with everything from live music to literature and even a night of pints and painting.
First up, enjoy tunes from local singer-songwriter Vanessa Maria - who blends alternative R&B with dark and ethereal electronic pop - on Thursday 10th.
The following Wednesday (16th) sees Ancoats Book Club discuss Aimee Bender’s poignant novel The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake. A Richard & Judy book club favourite, its young protagonist finds her magical ability to taste others’ emotions both a blessing and curse.
It’s time to face the music again on Thursday 17th; this time with jazz and soul songstress Lucy Mae, who fuses classic sounds with contemporary twists.
On Tuesday 22nd, there’ll be something completely different as Blue Bottle Botanics bring their terrarium workshop to Manchester. Leave with your very own garden-in-a-jar, and the knowledge to create more mini worlds to boot.
Think art and booze don’t mix? Pop-up Painting is out to prove otherwise. Unleash your creativity - glass in one hand, paintbrush in the other - as you learn to recreate some of art’s most iconic works (this month it’s Van Gogh). No experience needed!
Again showcasing some of the North West’s rising musical talent, Thursday 24th sees new band Native Cult preview some of its distinctive indie folk.
Finally, there’s a suitably spooky finale on Thursday 31st with a film screening of Halloween. Maybe don’t walk home alone…
