The food at Lily’s is always an exciting journey of discovery with all sorts of dishes you won’t find anywhere else.
Now, we have some brand new additions to our menu so if you’ve never tried our food, there’s never been a better time to come and visit.
Upma dhosa is sure to go down well with our customers, it’s a popular street food dish in southern India where it’s often eaten for breakfast. Thin dhosa pancakes are filled with semolina and spices and cut into moreish triangles – you won’t be able to keep your hands off.
Khandvi is another new dish we’ve added to our menu. These Gujurati rolls are made with gram flour and curds – we top ours with a riot of fresh vegetables and herbs. They make a great tea time snack and their mild flavour means they’re popular with kids and adults alike.
Some other Gujurati specialities we’ve introduced are Chutney Dhokra and Paneer Dhokra – tasty snacks made from a ground rice and chickpea batter. Filled with either chutney or paneer, they’re like a gorgeous savoury cake.
If it’s cake you’re after our new creamy desserts, Trivendri Kanchan are simply blissful. Coconut, rose or nut flavour – take your pick.
Lily's is in Ashton by the ASM cash and carry. It's near Ikea and handy for the tram.
