Spend an evening exploring Spanish food and wine in the company of expert chefs and sommeliers from critically-acclaimed restaurant La Bandera.
At this relaxed event at the Cervantes Institute on Deansgate, you'll be transported to at least six contrasting regions of Spain – with a full tapas speciality from each one, paired with a glass of wine carefully chosen by a sommelier to complement the food.
The menu promises to surprise you, introducing new dishes and flavours as well as many of the classic tastes of Spanish food.
La Bandera receives excellent reviews for its cooking, which is inspired by the cuisine of the Canary Islands where its owners were born and raised. Their chefs are known for creating superb quality tapas, using the finest ingredients and traditional cooking methods. At this event, you'll see live cooking demos, learn about wine and food matching, and get a fascinating insight into the different styles of Spanish cooking.
The wine and food will be exceptional throughout – at just £40 for six full tapas dishes and six glasses of wine, it's excellent value. (This much food and wine would normally cost in the region of at least £80.)
