Pick from one of three vegetarian mezze starters: hummous, falafels or loubiah – this is a delicious dish of braised green beans in a rich fresh tomato sauce made with onion, garlic and olive oil.
For your main course, there is a three-skewer selection of lamb and chicken koftas and chicken shish taouk, all grilled and served with a Comptoir salad, basmati rice and village bread.
Round things off with a sweet – the Lebanese pastries baklava are well worth a go, or there’s a traditional rose syrup-flavoured mouhalabia milk pudding topped with toasted pistachios or a velvety mango and vanilla cheesecake.
