This is a fast-paced, varied job – both inward and outward facing – that involves supporting the Executive Team and dealing with Manchester Confidential customers. You need to be a proper people person with excellent admin and communication skills, and a good knowledge of Office along with current social media platforms.

The job will involve scheduling social media output, so familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and Twitter is a must, and knowledge of Hootsuite is desirable. Good literacy and Word skills are essential, and experience of using Excel is required – you will be checking automated print schedules on a daily basis, and amending where necessary.

As well as general administrative procedures, familiarity with accounting principles would be an advantage, and being well organised is a prerequisite – one of your functions will be to manage the directors’ diary. We’re looking for a good team player, but being able to handle queries from outside the office in a friendly and polite manner is also top of our list – we need a first-line telephone operator with an excellent phone manner.

It's a full-time post, based in our office in Manchester city centre. The pay will be dependent on your experience.
