WITH a gourmet delicatessen and regular events programme, it’s not just Ibérica’s restaurant that showcases the best in Spanish gastronomy.

Complex wines of the utmost quality

Masterclasses and tastings are also dedicated to the finest fare, with local experts putting each delicacy in context; from speciality cheese to cured meats and delicate olive oils.

Wine unsurprisingly continues to be a popular focus, with the chance to sample some of Spain’s most revered vinos for just a £10 reservation fee. Not only that, the £10 can be redeemed against dining or deli products on the night, meaning you get twice the value.

Next up is Los Aljibes, who will be bringing four of its most esteemed wines to Leeds. Located in the fertile plains of Castilla La Mancha, this renowned winery boasts 178 hectares of vineyards; cultivated at almost 1000 metres above sea level for lengthy maturation.

Combined with an arid continental climate, organic farming and a blend of traditional viticulture with modern techniques, this ensures complex wines of the utmost quality.

The tasting takes place on Wednesday 14 September, from 6pm. Needless to say, it’s a tenner very well spent - whether you remember the evening afterwards or not...
